This is a Call for Workshop Proposals for what I think is a wonderful 
conference.

WORKHOP PROPOSAL DEADLINE IS APPROACHING - December 15, 2004

CHILDREN NEED EVERYDAY HEROES
10th Annual Child Abuse Prevention Conference
April 11-13 (Monday- Wednesday) 2005

The conference reflects the many approaches, programs and areas of 
knowledge that - together - protect children and strengthen families: 
Prevention / Family Support, Chld Protection, Child & Adolescent 
Development, Parenting, Community Building, Advocacy, 
Treatment/Clinical Practice, Law Enforcement.

We are seeking workshops that speak to all of those fields.  Some 
topics that have been specially requested include:  parenting - 
working with parents - staff supervision - dealing with child 
behavior problems - cultural competence - parents and children with 
disabilities - sexual behavior in children - early childhood 
development -child neglect - fathers and fatherhood - public 
relations (how to communicate with your audiences).
