If I recall correctly, Dave Pelzer, author of the very popular books:
A Child Called "It", The Lost Boy, and A Man Named Dave, was just such
a child. If memory serves correctly, he had two brothers who were
treated well, while he was treated very poorly and ended up in the
foster care system.<br>
