Resilience newsletter follow-up

Colleagues,

In response to the request I posted earlier about resilience throughout
the life cycle, several folks have asked me about how to get our
newsletter, Protection Connection.

We have published the newsletter since 1993, and back issues are
available in Adobe Acrobat format on our website.  Go to
http://www.utexas.edu/ssw/psti
then click on "Newsletter."

If you are interested in the issue we did a while back focusing on
resilience in children, go to

However, we made a big change this year -- we no longer publish the
newsletter in a hard-copy, printed format.  It is now an on-line
learning activity that allows our funding agency's staff to read an
extended article on-line that incorporates existing web-based material
alongside the content we write.  Then staff can take a short quiz
and obtain CEU credit if they pass.

As a result, I cannot put anyone on a mailing list to receive future
issues.  However, if interested, please plan to visit our website at
the end of May, when the upcoming on-line issue about resiliency should
be posted for general access. (The general-access version will not
include the quiz and CEU credit options.)

I will send a heads-up to the listserve when we have it
available.
