Re: The "cost" of unprevented abuse
Cathy Spatz Widom has conducted many fine studies that address the 'Cycle of
Violence' question. For instance, there's a 2003 article by White, HR &
Widom "Intimate partner violence among abused...." in Aggressive Behavior,
vol 29(4), pp. 332-3345 that contains data as well as references to many
other sources.
