Subject: Material sought on the teaching of law to social work students and
health professionals
Colleagues based in the UK have asked that this call be put to the
listserv:
'... knowledge of, and skills in applying the legal mandate, is a core
component of social work education and training in the UK. Increasingly
also it is important for professions allied to health. We need to
systematically review material published on teaching and assessing
students in relation to their knowledge of law, hence the need to
obtain published and "grey" material in relation to teaching law to
social workers, health professionals, and law students.
Any help, guidance, reading lists, teaching policy guidance and
contacts would be very welcome.... from any country.'
