To learn more about Cox Proportional Hazards Models (aka Cox regression,
aka survival analysis), I suggest this book:

Allison, P.D. (1995). Survival Analysis Using the SAS System: A
Practical Guide.  Cary, NC: SAS Institute Inc.

It is a SAS book but Allison covers the concepts very well.
