Please forward to interested candidates the following position
announcement, open immediately:

Project Coordinator: Funding is available for a project coordinator to
manage a program evaluation project in child abuse prevention. Under the
guidance and supervision of the PI, the coordinator will manage the daily
activities for a funded 3-year evaluation of a child abuse
prevention/intervention program. In addition, the coordinator will assist
in planning adjunctive activities in support of the development of a core
program in child abuse prevention research, including work on grant
applications, the development of a research/practice roundtable, initiating
a research briefs newsletter, and engaging community-based study sites and
collaborating agencies in joint intervention research activities. This is

level) in a relevant socio-behavioral/health related discipline (e.g.,
social work, public health, etc.), plus two years prior experience. The
position could be structured as a postdoctoral fellowship. Outstanding

Experience in grant-writing assistance and budget management is a plus.
Interest, flexibility, and capacity to work closely as a team player and to
handle a steep learning curve as the project expands into a long-term
program of research. Preference will be given to candidates who possess
experience and interest in early childhood and intervention research with
vulnerable families and children, as well as to applicants who plan to
remain in the position several years. Occasional travel to and from study
sites is required.

This position opening is located at the Columbia University School of
Social Work, one of the premier graduate training and research institutions
in social work in the United States, playing a pivotal role locally and
nationally in practice and policy developments related to vulnerable
children and families.

Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and training, plus
excellent benefits. Interested candidates should email CV/resume with cover
letter to Cathy Taylor at ct2125@columbia.edu.
