RE: Impact of pornography on children

Children's exposure to sexual content in the media has increased both in the
explicitness of sexual activity and the amount of viewing time - that is
true for television, movies, MTV and song lyrics. Though not about
pornography per se, the article

Hello Frank
I am very interested in your request as I have had some recent discussion
about this in regard to a particular case. My search has led me to wonder if
in fact there is now an increased tolerance of exposure of children to
sexual images and pornography - a change from 15 years ago when this was
definitely included as a form of sexual abuse. I understand from some
colleagues that there may be a link to sexualised behaviour of vulnerable
young people - vulnerable because of family conflict or family violence as
much as other factors - but if there is any data or other clinical opinion
on this and other effects, I would also like to know!
