RE: seeking unpublished research on cw turnover and retention
We are just beginning a study at our facility (a multidisciplinary facility
working with child victims of sexual abuse and their families),
we have been told by our state that the turn over for our county is 30.99%
for 2002. This figure seems low, so I would assume
that means it does not include transfers to other agencies within the state.
We will be looking at the stress related to working with this population,
and will provide relaxation techniques to see if that helps with
job satisfaction and continuing work.
We would appreciate any information that you could share.

Subject: seeking unpublished research on cw turnover and retention
I am working on an article on child welfare worker turnover and retention
and would like to locate any unpublished research studies focusing on the
factors that relate to child welfare staff turnover and retention. If you
are aware of any studies or know of individuals that I should contact
directly, I would appreciate a note or phone call. Thank you very much.
