RE: Runaway Youth from out-of-home care
The NISMART 2 study contains a component called the Juvenile Facilities
Survey, which assessed the frequency and characteristics of children who run
away from Juvenile facilities. Below is the web site for the report. More
information is available from Andrea Sedlak at Westat, Inc.

Subject: Runaway Youth from out-of-home care
Does anyone know of any research available on youth who run away from
out-of-home care settings (foster care, relative care, residential care)?
What would be really helpful are any models people have used to prevent
runaway...........Thanks. Dennette
