RE: juvenile perpetrators in child sexual abuse
Go to The web site for The Association of the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
www.atsa.com. On the left hand side go to their Public Policy section. Read
their position paper on effective legal management of Juvenile Sex
Offenders.

Subject: juvenile perpetrators in child sexual abuse
Hello,
I am a doctoral student @ Columbia University School of Nursing. In
my clinical practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner on Long Island
NY, I have seen a significant increase in the number of children under
15 as the perpetrators of sexual abuse on other children. This group
has proved diffficult to access as they are first found in the legal
system and seem protected there. Is anyone doing research with this
young group of children or know of someone else who is and may have
solved the access issue? I'd like to take a closer look at this
population Thank you.
