Parent Admission of Wrongdoing

I am interested in any research addressing the issue of a parent or caretaker admitting or refusing to admit their culpability in child maltreatment and its affect on a child-victim. We are looking at the therapeutic issue of admission of wrongdoing, especially in child sexual abuse cases,  as well as a plea in Juvenile, Civil or Criminal Court.
