Pearl St. Center in Tacoma, Washington, is an RTC, focusing primarily on the
milieu therapy model. They accept children/youth ages 11 - 17 from around
the state. A new program in Pierce Co., Washington, is a brief placement
(72 hrs.) for children/youth who are living in homes where a meth. lab is
discovered--a new program, but one that is working and based on some model
info. out of California.
