You may want to visit the Web site of the National Clearinghouse on Child
Abuse and Neglect Information, a service of the Children's Bureau, at
http://www.calib.com/nccanch/prevmnth/nominate/index.cfm.  The Children's
Bureau's Office on Child Abuse and Neglect, in cooperation with Caliber
Assoc. and the prevention community, is conducting a review of child abuse
and neglect prevention initiatives nationwide.  At this time, they are
accepting nominations for "Emerging Practices in Child Abuse and Neglect
Prevention"; the nominations are divided into two categores:   effective
programs and innovative programs (both described on the Web site).  Contact
information is provided.
