Does anyone know of a good, valid, reliable scale that is used to measure how much family/parental violence a child witnessed in his/her home?
Thanks,

Peter Dale does, I think, take England and Wales to mean the UK as a whole. Whilst the general thrust of policy and procedure is the same across the UK, Scotland operates under a seperate judicial system and devolved government. So far as Scotland is concerned, the appropriate publication can be found at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/library/documents-w3/pch-00.htm

> Hunt, J., Mcleod, A. & Thomas, C.(1999). The Last Resort: Child Protection,

> known as "Messages From Research" HMSO:London would also be relevant.
