RE: parent-child interaction

There are many parenting and family assessments in the following book:

Family Assessment: Resiliency, Coping and Adaptation. Inventories for
Research and Practice.
Authors: Hamilton I. McCubbin, Anne I. Thompson, Marilyn A. McCubbin.
University of Wisconsin Publishers, Madison, Wisconsin. 912 pp.

I cannot speak to your specific questions below but perhaps it's worth
taking a look.

Once again, am looking for a parent child interaction scale OR a parent
behavior rating scale that has some validity data and....

1. usually discriminates at-risk or abusive families
2. does not need to be videotaped
3. uses either rating scales or discrete counts of behavior
4. could be used in situ
5. Covers all or part of the age range 0-5

Help and Thanks!
