Implementing Youth Protection Programs

I represent a Boy Scout molested by his Boy Scout leader.
Dr. Gene Abel is one of our experts in this case.
We are seeking any additional information, especially in the area of implementing youth protection programs to protect boy scouts from molestation by boy scout leaders. The Scouts claim "[t]here is no scientific data demonstrating that child abuse prevention education of children has actually prevented any sexual molestation of children." Page 80 Cal.App.4th 898
Further, The Scouts steadfastly maintain there is no evidence "that educational programs intended to teach children how to avoid child sexual abuse do more good than harm, or that they have actually prevented any molestation in the first place." Page 80 Cal.App.4th 905
What do you think? - Are they right that there is nothing we can do to protect vulnerable boy scouts from pedophiles? Know of any studies?
If you have any information that you might think helpful, please
advise at your earliest convenience.
For more details on this landmark case see the court of appeal decision:Juarez v. Boy Scouts of America, Inc. (2000) [80 Cal.App.4th 876]

Thank you in advance for any assistance you might provide.
Michael

The social purpose of Tort Law is accident and injury
prevention.  It is only when we fail in our initial purpose that we
move to the secondary purpose, compensation for the injured
person.

If you do, it's not only good Karma, but you can brag to your friends that you did the right thing.
On the other hand, if you don't, then you'll probably feel really lousy about it and wish you had.
Either way, it's up to you...
