RE: spanking



The journals on child abuse and neglect are extremely helpful. I have
completed a research paper or shall I say term paper on the effects of
child maltreatment on brain development. You might also check in
proquest.

Richard Gelles and Murray Straus have written on this in the past (see 
attached references). Also the American Academy of Pediatrics released a

policy statement about two years ago regarding corporal punishment (you
can 
get their articles free at www.aap.org--let me know if you have any
