Hi. I am a Children's Counselor at Life Span,
a domestic violence agency in Chicago, and I am engaged in a effort to
develop an assessment strategy to assist judges in making interim and extended
decisions on visitation and custody in domestic violence cases. Do you
know of any assessment tools that currently take into account the special
circumstances of domestic violence? If you have time, could you tell me
what your thinking is on the subject? Any advice or leads you have would
be greatly appreciated. I've attached my incomplete draft outline for your
review. You can email me, or call me at my home phone on the weekends
or Mondays & Tuesdays during the day at 708/386-0662.
