developmental disabilities who are abused or neglected. I also have found very 
little on parents with developmental disabilities who abuse.

The best reference is: Sobsey, D. (1994). Violence and Abuse in the Lives of 
People with Disabilities: The End of Silent Acceptance? Baltimore, MD: Paul H. 
Brookes Publishing Co., Inc.

Dr. Sobsey includes an extremely comprehensive list of articles dating back to 
1967 on the topic of abuse and neglect and disabilities. 24 of the articles 
relate to abuse or neglect of children with some form of developmental 
disability.

Those authors produced another study relating to this topic in 1998.
