Doesn't the "real world" in fact become the "labratory setting"? Is it
not enough that the control group provides qualitative data? I thought
the phrase was coined due to similar findings among infants.
Perhaps each case is too different and we should not risk simply
attaching SBS and dismissing other factors? I would run that risk
anyway. Maybe culpability on the part of the parents is of greater
concern.
