Professor Ian Lubek (who previously was at the University of Guelph, now I
think at the University of Toronto) has conducted research within South East
Asia, looking at prostitution and product based prostitution (i.e. liquor and
cigarette girls who perform other tasks than simply selling products).

He is a professor of Social Psychology, and was taking a qualitative approach
to his research.
