FACULTY POSITIONS

 School of Social Work
 Virginia Commonwealth University


Nominations and applications are invited for three tenure-track positions to begin in August 2002.  The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work is looking for three scholars who will genuinely contribute to the life of the School and the social work profession.  Applicants should have well-developed lines of inquiry compatible with the School's focus on social and economic justice, critical thinking and scholarship for practice.  Areas of substantive interest are open.  We are looking for colleagues who will be outstanding teachers and scholars  and who are also committed to service.

Applicants must have at least two years post-MSW practice experience, an MSW degree, and an earned doctorate in social work or a related field.  ABD applicants may also be considered.  Salary and rank are negotiable.
