Ethical issues

I am currently working on the methodology of an epidemiological study that will collect data from young adult (ages approximately 18-25) survivors of intrafamilial child maltreatment, as well as institutional abuse. I am needing to think through the legal and ethical issues involved in the study.
For example, responsibilities to current residents of institutions that subjects report as abusive. Or reporting requirements related to young adult subjects who report intrafamilial abuse.
Can anyone recommend any good articles or books that could illuminate this inquiry?

Thanks in advance,
