I just happen to have pulled Texas' data this morning. According to their
report, their 5-year outcomes show that 74.5% children are not re-abused
after a return home from foster care. Therefore, 25.5% of Texas children are
re-abused after a return home from foster care. In addition, families who
received family preservation services in Texas had a 16.3% recidivism rate
after 5 years.

Can you give me your most recent data on repeat instances of
child
maltreatment. In other words % of families re-referred
after protective
service unsubstantiated and/or case closed. Thanks.
