This is longitudinal, but not prospective:
Heyman, R. E., & Slep, A. M. S. (2002). Double whammy and the cycle of
violence: Does physical victimization and exposure to interparental
violence in childhood lead to child or partner maltreatment in adulthood?
Journal of Marriage and the Family, 64, 864-870.

We've almost done collecting 3 years of prospective longitudinal data that
we hope to analyze next year. Good luck.

Hello listmembers,

I am trying to find any prospective longitudinal studies that have
investigated the longer-term effects of domestic violence exposure on
children.  So far, I have found several articles on the effects of
direct child abuse, but very few examining the impact of solely
witnessing interparental violence.  I would appreciate any citations
that you all could suggest.
