Research Associate
The Kempe Children's Center
Department of Pediatrics
The Kempe Children's Center, within the Department of Pediatrics at the
University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, conducts research with, and
provides prevention services and clinical care to, abused and neglected
children. We are seeking a full-time Ph.D-level statistician to work with a
team of researchers. Position will supervise masters-level
programmers/statisticians.
Employment Qualifications
* Ph.D. with background and experience in quantitative research
design, methodology, and data analyses
* Experience with longitudinal analyses such as:
* Structural equation modeling
* Growth curve analyses
* Multi-level modeling
* Experience with SAS required. Use of other statistical software
packages such as SPSS, LISREL and HLM strongly desired.
* Publication and presentation record desired.

Senior Professional Research Assistant
The Kempe Children's Center
Department of Pediatrics
The Kempe Children's Center, within the Department of Pediatrics at the
University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, conducts research with, and
provides prevention services and clinical care to, abused and neglected
children. We are seeking a full-time Senior Professional Research Assistant
to provide data analysis and statistical support to principal investigators
engaged in multiple research projects. Ideal candidate will have experience
in data management (creating and maintaining clinical and administrative
data sets) and statistical analyses (e.g., multiple and logistic regression,
ANOVA). The candidate must have extensive experience programming and
conducting statistical analyses in SAS and be able to generate tables,
graphs, and summaries.
Employment Qualifications:
* Masters degree in applied biostatistics, statistics, or related
field
* Demonstrated experience using SAS
* Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
