Re: Suggested list serves

The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (www.atsa.com) has a
list service that is closed to members. One can join the list service by
becoming a member. Several members do contribute to this list, especially
on the topic of sexual offense.

On a bit broader topic I also subscribe to the National Criminal Justice
Reference Service JUSTINFO -- Justice Information Electronic Newsletter
at http://virlib.ncjrs.org/JUSTINFO.asp

I am curious if there are any other closed list services and what the
perceived deficits and benefits are of an open Vs a closed list.

Topics of interest are child maltreatment research and practice, family
violence research and practice, research methodology, and applied
statistics.
