Richard:

You might take a look at "Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale (CAPS)" Used
for both domestic traumma and combat trauma. Has good (acceptable)
psychometrics and is useful in administering in a clinical setting by
trained clinicians. Instrument was developed under the auspices of a
governmental agency and is public domain. For use outside Veterans Affairs
Medical Centers, including copies of CAPS and companion manual, contact:

Terrennce M. Kean, PhD
National Center for PTSD (116B2)

Boston, MA 02130
Tel. 617-232-9500 ext. 4143

Hope this helps.
