Unrecognised or Hidden Grief - Foster carers

I'm seeking references any recent material regarding foster carers/kinship
carers and children in their care who are experiencing grief of a birth
parent. This includes both external support for carer and the carer's role
in supporting such children. I also specifically interested in issues where
the carer's grief in not recognised by families and professionals.

At present I only found a few references to such, including:

Doka, Kenneth, Disfranchised Grief, Lexington, NY (1989) ... but this
mainly relates to foster cares of terminally ill children

and

Nadeau, Janice, Families making sense of death, Sage, NY, 1998 ... but this
requires extrapolation from issues around family dynamics
