RE: Requesting info on a study
Portia, the study you are referring to is 1. Nancy Thoennes & Patricia G.
Tjaden, “The Extent, Nature, and Validity of Sexual Abuse Allegations in
Custody/Divorce Disputes,” 14 Child Abuse & Neglect 151, 153-54 (1990).

Subject: Requesting info on a study
I am hoping that someone on this list may be familiar with a study that was
completed in the 90's pertaining to the percentage of sexual abuse
allegations that occur in families where the parents of children are
divorcing, fighting for custody or have visitation disputes.
The population was 7,000 or 9,000 families. If you know of this study, I
would be very grateful if you would post.
Thank you.
