The Children's Bureau website which posts foster care data from AFCARS http://www.acf.dhhs.gov/programs/cb/dis/afcars/publications/afcars.htm This shows a small decline of the numbers of children in care from 1998 to 2002 2. NDAS (National Data Analysis System) maintained by the Child Welfare League of America: http://ndas.cwla.org/ contains several child welfare outcomes by state 3.
