Does anyone have an interest or special expertise in institutional abuse?
We are looking for studies, govt. reports, clinical observations, etc. as
part of a literature review on this topic, including institutions such as
educational, recreational, religious, military, and special needs (mental
health, corrections, and social services).

Although these encompass broad areas, there are few studies we can find
that specifically look at the impact of abuse in such contexts (other
than familial/extra-familial). We are preparing a conceptual model which
we would like to share with interested parties for their input as
well.
I was forwarded you're original request and the subsequent response of 1%
and want to make an observation. In our county, voluntary placements are
also made through agencies that do not contract with protective services
and many of these cases never reach court or result in protective services
involvement. It would be important to know if the placements with these
agencies are included in the 1%.
