Re: Self Protection Programs

Try checking out the Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Program. Their
headquarters are in Columbus, Ohio, I believe. They have conducted
research to evaluate their program and found it to be successful. I'm
not sure of any specific citations. The office there should be able
to give you a reference. Jackie Reilly

Can anyone point me in the direction of research showing the effectiveness
(or lack of effectiveness) of programs that teach young children (ages 4-6)
how to protect themselves from child abuse & neglect or other forms of
intentional injury (i.e., child abduction)?

Thank you!
