You might want to search the database of the National Adoption Information
Clearinghouse (NAIC) at www.calib.com/naic.  If you go into the
publications, I know there is one called "Adoption Statistics - A Brief
Overview of the Data" that offers a variety of sources for adoption-related
statistics.  Good luck!
