Hello.
I'm seeking measurement advice for a research study involving in-person
surveys of parents with young children living in an economically stressed
neighborhood. Interviewers will read the questions to respondents
and record their answers.
1. Does anyone know of a relatively brief general stress
measure? (I am not in need of a stress measure specific to the
parenting role, nor am I in need of a major life events
checklist).
2. Is anyone aware of an infant temperament measure that is
relatively brief (e.g., less than 40 items) that can be used with infants
< 6 months of age? (Or, should temperament not be measured that
young)?
3. Is there an existing screening measure for borderline
personality disorder?
4. Finally, I am looking for a good nutritional screen for
older infants and toddlers. E.g., is there a validated measure for
asking about less healthy snacks and eating habits?
I hope I'm not being too greedy asking for input on all of the
above! Advice on any or all of the above measures would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks!
