Re: Help please!
Dear Carmel Smith,
As far as date violence prevention program goes, I have a couple of manuals. I hope they are helpful to you.
Wolfe, David A. (1996). The Youth Relationships Manual: A group approach with adolescents for the prevention of woman abuse and the promotion of healthy relationships. Thousand Oaks: Sage.
House of Ruth (1995). Teen Dating Violence Prevention Curriculum. Available at P.O. Box 457, Claremont, CA 91711, (909) 623-4364.
In terms of working with adolescents, the following book might be helpful.
Morganett, Rosemarie S. (1990). Skills for Living: Group Counseling Activities for Young Adolescents. Available at Research Press, 2612 North Mattis Avenue, Champaign, Il 61821.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have very little idea of just how to go about it in order to present the knowledge without promoting bogey-men and monsters. Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome. You all seem to be at the place where I want to go i.e. working in the field, and since this is a requirement of my course I must complete it. Please help. Many thanks.
