Measuring Personl History of Maltreatment

I'm looking for a measure to use with women who are working with young
children, to help them to look at their own personal history of
experiences with harsh discipline, maltreatment and neglect.
This is a personal issue with many of the women I encounter, especially
those who are high school educated paraprofessionals in child
maltreatment prevention programs.  They are far from representative of
the "general public."
I address these issues as part of training on alternatives to physical
punishment, but I would like to assess the experience of the workers in
a more systematic way.

Suggestions?  Tools must be suitable for a group of people with a high
school education, and relatively brief.
