Having read those sample chapters of Bruce's book, I would have to
recommend the reading of his theory to all on the list. I would agree that
child abuse has a major influence on the development of one's personality.
Rather than one's childhood environment supporting healthy growth and
exploration in order for one to develop his or her personality to its
greatest potential, an environment of abuse directs the development of
one's personality. Everyone's early evironment plays a role, but one
living in an abusive environment tends to not be able to explore or
discover on his or her own. It is part of the syndrome.

Bruce, you book is most interesting. I would like to read it when every it
is published.
