The American Humane Association, a nationwide non-profit organization committed to protecting children and animals since 1877 is announcing the following job openings for full time employment:

1. Children's Services: Research Assistant
Duties include database management, analysis & entry, literary searches & writing. Requires BA + 2 yrs exp. Statistical knowledge & MS Office experience pref. 


2. Children's Services: Staff Associate
Seeking qualified professionals with skills in policy analysis, research & evaluation, curriculum development, training, & community-based program development.  Candidates must demonstrate experience managing complex projects. Master's Degree in a social science, 3 years related experience, excellent oral & written presentation skills are required.  Experience working in child protection/child welfare, communities of color & with the general public is strongly preferred. 

3. Children's Services:  Research Associate
Applicants should possess experience in social science research design, field design, data analysis, program evaluation, & report preparation. Strong research skills required. Requires MS in social science or related field, Ph.D. pref. + 3 years experience. Knowledge of child abuse & neglect & public/private system of child welfare service delivery.
