We understand that NBC Dateline will air a segment on child abuse on 
Monday, April 17, at 8PM ET.
According to the producers, this is the culmination of a "six-month 
investigation of child abuse."  and
>"Through one case emblematic of these trends, we are examining the 
>light sentences typically given to convicted child abusers, as well 
>as how children can fall through the cracks of the systems designed 
>to protect them."
