Re: minority overrepresentation

Here are three studies you may want to have a look at:
1. Lu, Lanldsverk, Ellis-Macleod, Newton, Ganger & Johnson: Race,
ethnicity and case outcomes in child protective services--Children and
Youth Services Review, 26 (2004) 447-461

2. Lau, McCabe, Yeh, Garland, Hough, Landsverk: Race/Ethnicity and rates
of self-reported maltreatment among high-risk youth in public sectors of
care--Child Maltreatment, Volume 8, Issue 3, August 2003

3. Hines, Lemon, Wyatt, Merdinger: Factors related to the
disproprotionate involvement of children of color in the child welfare
system: a review and emerging themes--Children and Youth Services
Review, 26 (2004) 507-527
