Post-Doc position
POST-GRADUATE RESEARCHER POSITION
VIOLENCE PREVENTION RESEARCH GROUP
UCLA SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH
A three-year, full-time post-graduate researcher position in violence
prevention will be available at the UCLA School of Public Health beginning
July 1, 2000. All requirements for the doctoral degree must be completed
before July 1, 2000.
Primary duties: Develop and revise drafts of a data collection instrument
for a funded research project on weapons use in domestic violence. Identify
and pursue research questions in already-collected data. Conduct data
analysis. Draft manuscripts. Disseminate findings through presentations
and publications.
Resources: State-of-the-art computer equipment, funding for travel to state
and national conferences, and some clerical support will be provided.
Salary is approximately $30,000/year plus benefits.
