Lisa-- Bruce Perry does not provide data--his work is more theoretical. There are several studies on in utero exposure to maternal anxiety and later outcomes...See Tom O'connor and the ALSPAC study and a dutch group (van den Bergh and Marcoen) for key longitudinal studies--there were just presentations on this in Paris this week at the World Assoc of Infant Mental Health meeting (www.waimh.org) and the abstracts are on-line. for infant toddler data, the most systematic clinical research is done by Mike Scheeringa at my institution (Tulane U. in New Orleans--and yes, we're still keepin' on!)
