RE: Survey/Interview of Fathers
Call the Nat'l Center for Fathers and Families--I would bet that they could
give you the contact with Head Start and they have a large searchable
fathers/fatherhood database on their web site. They are located at the
University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Maureen Pirog

Subject: Survey/Interview of Fathers
In conjunction with a Healthy Families America site, we are beginning an
interview study of fathers who are low income, and mostly African
American. The survey is about fathering, and we will include some
questions about discipline.
1. Are you aware of other child maltreatment prevention or Healthy
Families America or mother-oriented home visiting programs that have
done a similar study?
2. Does anyone know how to get in touch with the national Head Start's
father research project? I have been unable to locate contact people.
Thanks
