Civitas, Childhood Trauma Programs, has a web site (below) which
contains several online articles for caregivers of maltreated
children along with links to other sites. You may find this site
useful with quick access to the information your family may be
looking for as well as the Child Welfare League of America. I do
not have their website handy but it should be easy to access via
any of the major search engines. They have material that can be
ordered from their website, much of  which would be appropriate
for foster families or families adopting maltreated children.
