Childhood development

<DIV><FONT size=2>I have a foster parent that is having difficulty with her 4 
and 5 year old children and their destructiveness.&nbsp; The destructiveness 
appears to come more from lack of understanding cause and effect than >from 
anger.&nbsp; These children have come from a neglectful&nbsp;situation and I 
feel&nbsp;the developmentally delay they have is a major factor in their 
behavior.&nbsp; </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>My question is:&nbsp; Is there any literature or a website 
that I could find to help in understanding the behavior of neglected children 
and methods of helping them learn to function better in their environment.&nbsp; 
These folks are wanting to adopt these children so I am really wanting to give 
them as much information as possible to help the deal with the years 
ahead.</FONT></DIV>
