Re: family drug courts

Hi,
There was recently an article in Child Maltreatment, Vol.12, No. 1, pp.
43-59, February 2007 issue, How Effective are Family Treatment Drug
Courts? Outcomes from a Four-Site National Study, by Beth Green and
colleagues.
A few other places to look are the Drug Court Program Office, U.S.
Department of Justice, they have many useful publications.
In New York State, the Center for Court Innovation has numerous
publications and technical support for drug courts.
www.*court**innovation*.org
In addition, the National Coalition of Juvenile and Family Court Judges
has resources on this topic, including a curriculum for beginning a drug
court. http://www.ncjfcj.org
I am involved in the family treatment court in Ithaca, New York, so feel
free to contact me off the list if you want, at mem227@xxxxxxxxxxx
