Is anyone aware of any research article on children's experiences and/or
attitudes regarding corporal punishment?  I am presently conducting a research
project on the link between children's experiences with corporal punishment and
their acceptance of it as an appropriate child rearing strategy. the hpothesis
is that children who are accepting of the corporal punishment they have
experienced, are less likely to suffer from negative consequences as compared to  
children who do not accept it. I am looking for instruments that can be used to
assess the afore mentioned variables (experience with corporal punishment and
