Confidentiality

Is anyone aware of any research or articles on the effects of different 
therapist positions regarding confidentiality with mandated CPS clients. I am 
currently in disagreement with CPS over what should be the proper 
expectations for the release of information between the therapist who is 
seeing mandated CPS clients and the social workers who have made the 
referral.  The social workers are strongly requesting that their be few 
limits on the info. passed between the therapist and social worker.  The 
therapist wants the release of info. to be more focused and restrictive.  In 
my conversations with CPS, it would be helpful to know if there has been any
